Supply Chain Job Fair – April 4

Did you know: the ‘supply chain’ sector is one of Hamilton’s biggest employers?

The supply chain refers to all of the steps involved in getting goods from their producers to the customer. People are needed at every step of the way to make sure goods move efficiently. The kinds of jobs in this field range from road, rail, marine or air transportation, to warehousing, information technology, and logistics management.

Companies in this sector are looking for staff of all kinds, with many jobs located right in the North End, at the port or with nearby companies.

To help connect local residents with employers, Hamilton Port Authority has partnered with the Mission to Seafarers and Mohawk College to host a Supply Chain Job Fair on Wednesday, April 4th at Mohawk.

If you or someone you know is looking for full-time, part-time, or a summer position, make sure you plan to come. You don’t have to be a student – everyone is welcome, and admission is free. Just make sure to bring copies of your resume.
